Digital X-ray

As Fort Wayne's first all-digital hospital, Dupont Hospital offers a full range of digital diagnostic services, including digital X-rays. Why are digital X-rays better? For one thing, they save you time. With a digital X-ray, there's no waiting around for film to be developed because there is no film! Instead, the X-ray image is converted directly into electronic bits of information that are stored in a computer where they can be viewed and enlarged for closer study.

Digital X-rays can also be transmitted electronically, so they can easily be sent to your doctor or another specialist for consultation.

Online Preregistration
If your doctor has recommended that you have a procedure and you already have an appointment scheduled at Dupont Hospital, you may pre-register online. Preregistration is easy to do. Just click on the preregistration button in the side bar at the right under "My 5-Star Community". Follow the instructions to fill out your information and click send for it to be emailed to us. You are not required to pre-register, but we offer this as an option to save you time once you arrive at the hospital.
